Peter Obi’s Missing Phone Found
LAGOS AUGUST 2ND (NEWSRANGERS)-The phone of Mr. Peter Obi, the Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the February 25, 2023, election, which was widely reported to have been stolen at the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) yesterday, Tuesday, August 1, 2023, has been found.
According to Mr. Valentine Obienyem, Media Adviser of the former Governor of Anambra State, the phone was actually not stolen but picked up for safe keeping by an aide of Mr. Obi when he left it on the table to exchange pleasantries with some people in the Court.
The news that the phone was stolen had gone viral with many messages of solidarity pouring in.
Acknowledging with gratitude the overwhelming empathy of the people, Obienyem, in his statement clarifying the incident, said that “the spontaneous outpouring of solidarity was yet again a demonstration of the love of the people” for Obi.

Thanks you for your solidarity
Yesterday, the news of the loss of Mr. Peter Obi’s phone went viral. The spontaneous outpouring of solidarity was yet again a demonstration of the love of the people for him.
May I happily inform you that it was not a case of theft. He left the phones on his table to exchange pleasantries with some people in court, whereupon, for safety sake, one of his aides picked the phones.
Once again, we appreciate your concern.
