Nigerian Maritime Media Practitioners Condole With NPA Boss On Father’s Demise
LAGOS JULY 31ST (NEWSRANGERS)-The Executive and members of Congress of Nigerian Maritime Media Practitioners (CONMMEP) have commiserated with the Managing Director of Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Mr. Muhammed Bello Koko on the death of his father, Alhaji Muhammad Koko, who passed on after a protracted illness.
CONMMEP in a letter signed by its National President, Alhaji Tunde Umar-Daniah, and made available to the media, urged the entire Koko family to be consoled by the good legacies their late father left behind pointing out that death remained an inevitable reality and the way of all mortals.
According to Umar-Daniah, “death is inevitable and every mortal must die someday, that is why it is important we live right because it is the only way to make heaven after our stay here on Earth.”
“We at CONMMEP sympathize with the Koko’s for this irreparable loss, and we urge them to seek solace in Allah and be consoled by the good legacies their late father left behind.”
“CONMMEP , pray Almighty Allah to grant him mercy and forgive his sins, and to the family, may Allah grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.”
The passing on of Alhaji Muhammad Koko was announced by his son, Muhammed Bello Koko, MD, Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), on his social media handle, the message read, ” this morning, my dear father, Alhaji Muhammad Koko, passed away after a protracted illness.
He will be buried in accordance with Islamic rites after Friday prayers.
May Allah have mercy on his soul and forgive him all his shortcomings, Amin ! ”
Alhaji Muhammad Koko has since been buried according to Islamic rites and CONMMEP uses this opportunity to console the NPA MD, the statement read.
