Peter Obi Felicitates Baba-Ahmed As Varsity Matriculates First Set Of Students
LAGOS APRIL 30TH (NEWSRANGERS)-The presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi has congratulated the Pro-Chancellor of Baba-Ahmed University, Kano, Senator Datti Baba-Ahmed on the successful matriculation of the university’s first set of students.
Baba-Ahmed was Obi’s running mate in the February 25 presidential election.
In a statement he personally signed on Saturday, Obi said, “I heartily congratulate My Very Dear Brother and Compatriot, Senator Datti Baba-Ahmed, the Pro-Chancellor of Baba-Ahmed University, Kano.
“As Baba-Ahmed University matriculates its first set of students today, I applaud your exemplary commitment to education.
“I maintain, as always, that education is the most important investment any nation can make, particularly for its young people. Your strong belief in education and its impact on development, will definitely and immensely contribute to the enthronement of a New Nigeria which future generations will be proud of.
“May God Almighty, who sees your goodness, continue to protect and bless you always.”
