Obasanjo: Presidency Launches Weekly TV, Radio Programme To Promote Buhari’s Achievements

Buhari

LAGOS JANUARY 25TH (NEWSRANGERS)-In a move which can be likened to a response to the declaration by former President Olusegun Obasanjo that President Muhammadu Buhari had performed below expectation, the Presidency has launched a weekly television and radio programme.
The programme is designed to exhibit the policies and programmes of the Buhari administration.
The Deputy Director (Media) in the office of the Vice President, Abiola Olusola, released the information in a statement issued on Wednesday.
The programme will be aired on some radio and television stations across the country.
Former President Obasanjo had in what he tagged a Special Statement, chastised the Buhari administration, saying he had refused to bring about the change Nigerians yearned for when they voted him into office in 2015.
According to Obasanjo, the hunger, poverty and other problems confronting the country remained unsolved.
He therefore warned him not to contest for a second time in 2019 to pave way for those who might have answers to the nation’s problems.
