Commuters, Motorists Scamper For Safety As ‘Agberos’ Clash In Lagos

LAGOS FEBRUARY 12TH (NEWSRANGERS0-Commercial  and social activities were temporary truncated in the early hours of Thursday after factional members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers NURTW engaged themselves in a free for all at the thickly populated Obalende community in Lagos Island.

 The cause of the fight has yet to be ascertained as of the time of this report but multiple sources said it may not be unconnected to leadership tussle in the affected park.

 CrimeWorld magazine online authority learnt sporadic gunshots rented the air while the wary factions chased after each other with dangerous weapons including machetes.

Commuters and motorists reportedly scampered to safety as the fight lasted without law enforcement agents on sight.

It was not possible to get the reaction of the Command PRO CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi on the fight to determine whether there was any casualty as of the time of this report.
