Bayelsa Holds Monthly Praise Night, Sets To Eradicate Maternal/ Infant Mortality

LAGOS MARCH 1ST (NEWSRANGERS)-Bayelsa State Governor, Honourable Henry Seriake Dickson says, the Government would soon unfold plans to eradicate maternal and infant mortality in the state.
The Governor who gave the assurance while making his remarks during the February, 2018 edition of the State’s monthly Praise Night at the King of Glory Chapel, Government House, Yenagoa, explained that, the health team is working round the clock to unfold the measures in the course of the week.
Dickson disclosed that, the health team will ensure that all pregnant women in the state are identified and captured right where they live, adding that, incentives will be provided for all registered pregnant women in the State.
He also urged all traditional birth attendants in the State to register with the health team, so that they can be trained to ensure the safety of women during pregnancy and child birth.
He pointed out that, the first lady of the state, Dr. (Mrs.) Racheal Dickson will soon be organizing a conference, where women leaders and women generally from the various Local Government Areas will be assembled to be educated on ways and methods on how to curb infant and maternal mortality.
In his sermon, Rev. Precious I. Precious spoke on the importance of a person’s vision, noting that, anyone without a vision is like a dead man.
According to the man of God, as humans, we must have visions of what we want to be and whom we desire to be in life.
