Pull Out Ceremony: IGP, Sanwo-Olu, Musiliu Smith Bid EX-Lagos CP, Odumosu Farewell
LAGOS JANUARY 26TH (NEWSRANGERS)-The Inspector General of Police, IGP Alkali Baba, Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Sanwo-Olu, Chairman Police Service Commission, Mr. Musiliu Smith and Traditional Rulers among others bid former Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu farewell with words of encouragement during his pull out ceremony.
The pull out farewell ceremony of Odumosu who retired as Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) was held amidst ceremonial salutes, fanfare, march past by policemen in ceremonial uniform at the Police College Ikeja, Lagos state.
The Inspector General of Police, Mr. Alkali Baba represented by DIG Babatunde Kokumoh said the retiring AIG is known for diligence hard work professionalism, and a distinguished officer who performed creditably well during elections.
On his part, Governor Babajide Sanwoolu of Lagos state congratulated the retiring officer saying it is heart-warming that he is pulling out with laudable achievements.
Sanwo -Olu described Odumosu as an outstanding steward, a motivator, mentor and a super cop, adding that the officer came, saw and conquered using every means at his disposal to improve on the security of lives and property in the state.
Chairman of the police service Commission, Mr. Musiliu Smith advised the celebrant to settle down as a family man and give a better attention to the family because as an officer, he did not have enough time for the family.
Oba Gbolahan Lawal the Oniru of Iruland described the retiring officer as a deligent, brave and gallant colleague.
The Anyangburen of Ikorodu, Oba Kabir Shotunbi said that Mr. Odumosu had performed excellently well in the country and urged other officers to emulate him.
