LAGOS SEPTEMBER 28TH (NEWSRANGERS)-The Public Relations Officer of the Lagos state Police command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin has recently shared the story of an unidentified man who was almost lynched by a mob in Lagos state after he took his son’s dead body to a bus terminal to transport him to the village for burial.

According to the story shared by the Police officer on his official Twitter page on Tuesday, 27th of September 2022, he said that a 5 years old boy fell sick and later died overnight. The family of the boy insisted that the boy must be taken to the village for burial.

As revealed in the tweet, Ben said that the father and another unidentified person in a bid to take the dead boy to the village for burial, decided to go to a bus terminal with the corpse of the little boy. Upon sighting the dead body, passersby were said to have raised alarm and the father of the boy and the other person were almost lynched by the mob when the Police came and rescued them.

While advising Nigerians on the issue, SP Benjamin Hundeyin said that people should avoid bringing dangerous suspicion on themselves.
