Libya Female Returnee Recounts How She Use To Sleep With 10 To 15 Men Daily
LAGOS MARCH 25TH (NEWSRANGERS)-Olaonipekun Temitope has shared the traumatic story of how she was deceived and trafficked to Libya by a close family acquaintance before eventually escaping.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Nollywood actress and filmmaker Biola Adebayo Ent,
Temitope detailed the horrors she faced in Libya, where she was forced into prostitution.
She was made to sleep with numerous men every day to generate money for her traffickers. Some days, she was forced to be with up to 15 men, and even on slow days, she had no choice but to engage with at least 10.
Recalling her painful experience, she stated, “If I think back, we had to sleep with 10 to 15 men each day.”
Temitope endured three weeks of this ordeal before she saw an opportunity to escape. She fasted for three days, believing that her parents’ prayers—especially her mother’s emotional pleas—gave her the strength to take action. On the day of her escape, she climbed over a fence and ran to the Nigerian embassy in Libya, where officials helped facilitate her return to Nigeria.
