JUST IN: ‘El-Rufai’ Demolishes APC Factional Head Office In Kaduna (PHOTOS)
LAGOS FEBRUARY 20TH (NEWSRANGERS)-The head office of the All Progressives Congress faction that placed a six months suspension on the Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir el-Rufai, has been demolished alleged non payment of groundrent for eight month.
The house was demolished around 4.00am this morning. The demolition was carried out in the early hours of Tuesday. The office is located at 11B, Sambo Road, GRA Kaduna, Kaduna State.
Security personnel were said to have been present when the demolition was carried out at the headquarters of the faction led by Senator Suleiman Hukunyi.
The faction had two days before announcing the suspension of El-Rufai queried the governor and suspended three of his aides. Hukunyi is the representative of Kaduna North Senatorial District.
The house that was demolished in the early hours of today by officials of Kaduna State Urban Development Authourity (KASUPDA) was led by an official of the agency nick named “El-Rufai”.
The house served as a parallel APC state SECRETARIAT (APC AKIDA) championed by Senator Suleiman Hunkuyi ahead of envisaged reconciliation committee meeting headed by APC Chieftain Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Impeccable sources revealed that Hunkuyi was served with a notice of non payment of ground rent yesterday by 3.49 pm. But officials of KASUPDA on alleged direct orders from Gov. El-Rufai stormed the house with armed security men to demolished the house around 4.00am this morning.
