Insecurity: IGP Plans To Activate Nigeria Police Short Code 933
LAGOS JULY 28TH (NEWSRANGERS)-In an attempt to resolve the present insecurity problem bedeviling the country, the Inspector General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba is discussing with Nigeria Communication Commission (NCC) and putting measures in place to activate the Police short code 933 to ease communication and sharing of information.
Police Public Relation Officer (PPRO) Force Force Headquarters, Olumuyia Adejobi in a statement sighted by NewsRangers assured that the drive will definitely boost their operations and service delivery.
The Police Force admonished Nigerians to be patient and believe that their system still works, just as it assured that they would surely overcome this present condition and stand tall to celebrate in Nigeria.
“IGP is discussing with the NCC and putting measures in place to have and activate the Police short code, 933, which will soon be rolled out to ease communication and sharing of information.
“We are sure this drive will definitely boost our operations and service delivery. So we admonish Nigerians to be patient and believe in our system, as the system still works.
“We will surely overcome this present condition and stand tall to celebrate in Nigeria. Nigeria is our common heritage that must be guided and protected,” the statement assured.
