Hunter Shot Dead By Accidental Discharge of Gun By His Brother
LAGOS AUGUST 30TH (NEWSRANGERS)-A 45-year-old hunter, Kwabena Bronya, 45, has accidentally been shot dead by a gun in possession of his elder brother Kwadjo Nkrumah, 36, while on their way to poach in Pamuruso Forest in the Ashanti Region.
The deceased and the suspect were siblings and both lived at Asibe-Nkwanta near Nynahin in the Atwima Mponua District of the Ashanti Region.
Correspondent Hamza Mohammed reported that, whilst on their way to hunt in the forest the now deceased who was holding an already loaded gun decided to give it to the suspect to temporarily hold it for him to urinate but the gun suddenly went off and accidentally shot Kwadwo Nkrumah.
Kwabena Bronya screamed for help to rush his brother who was bleeding profusely to the hospital. Fortunately, a Good Samaritan appeared and assisted him to take the victim to Bibiani government hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Nynahin police subsequently arrested the suspect to assist Investigation.
The body of the deceased has been deposited at Bibiani mortuary for an autopsy
