LAGOS SEPTEMBER 20TH (NEWSRANGERS)-More facts have emerged over the kidnap and killing of the former Deputy Vice Chancellor of the Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti, Prof Olorunfemi Olaofe.

Professor Olaofe was kidnapped in July but died in the den of the kidnappers who also collected ransom from the family.

Our correspondent gathered that the alleged mastermind of the kidnap who was a guard in the home of the Professor was also killed by other members and buried in a shallow grave.

According to findings, the guard was killed following a disagreement on the sharing formula for the ransom paid by the family which was about seven million Naira.

It was gathered that at the point of sharing the money, professor Olaofe’s guard insisted on taking the lion’s share of four million Naira which other gang members rejected.
