Ex-Ogun State Speaker, Oluomo  Sets  To Open  Mini-Sport Stadium  In Ifo

LAGOS APRIL 28TH (NEWSRNAGERS)-The former Speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon Olakunle Taiwo Oluomo  has put  plans in place to officially open Oluomo Sports Arena complex  around Ibogun area of Ifo in Ogun State.

Our correspondent gathered that the arena is a mini-stadium which is presently under construction by Oluomo Legacy Project is to provide provide sporting facilities  for youths,  indigenes and residents of Ifo  regarded as the largest local government area in Ogun state.

According to credible sources,  the sporting  arena, when officially open will play host to young children and youths who are interested in developing and honing their talents in football, long jump, boxing, table tennis and volley ball among other sports.

It was further gathered that the mini-stadium will be equipped with all modern sporting facilities, while local and foreign coaches would  be attracted to  scout for children, youths and other people talented in all areas of sporting activities  for sponsorship.

The ex-Ogun State House of Assembly  Speaker who was in-charge from 2019 to 2024, as speaker of the state assembly, confirmed this  on Saturday during the 20th year celebration of Oba Samuel Atanda Oladipupo, the Ayeroinwi 1, Oluomo of Ifoland, at a colourful ceremony held at Ifo town hall in Ogun state.
