Dozens Of Voter’s Cards Discovered Inside A Soak Away In Lagos State

PVC SOAK AWAY

LAGOS DECEMBER 11TH (NEWSRANGERS)-Dozens of permanent voter’s cards (PVCs) have been found inside a soakaway in the Oko Afo area of Lagos State.

In a video circulating on social media, residents of the area were seen around the soakaway while a man was parking out the PVCs.

The voter’s cards have been handed over to the police, according to a voice in the video.

Several voter cards had earlier been discovered in bushes and dump sites across the country.

This comes a few months before the 2023 general election. Many Nigerians who had earlier registered with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) haven’t received their PVCs.

The commission recently announced that more than 900,000 voter cards are yet to be collected in Lagos State.

INEC has announced that the collection of Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs) will start on December 12, 2022.

However, many social media users have reacted to the discovery of PVCs in a soakaway in Lagos State.
