Bandits Abduct 20 Students From Islamic School In A Community Near Abuja
LAGOS MAY 22ND (NEWSRANGERS)-Suspected bandits have reportedly abducted no fewer than 20 students from an Islamic school in Madalla, near Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.
An eyewitness told THE WHISTLER that gunmen invaded the Islamic Academy in Madalla on Thursday, shooting sporadically before carting away the students.
Madalla is located between Suleja in Niger State and Abuja.
The assailants were said to have whisked away their victims to an unknown location.
Although details of this incident are still sketchy, information made available to THE WHISTLER said it happened in the morning.
The Niger State police spokesperson, Wasiu Abiodun, did not pick several calls put across to his phone when our correspondent made efforts to confirm the report.
