Amazing: Mechanic Uses Customers’s Lexus ES350 As Collateral For A Loan Of N1.5m
LAGOS MAY 25TH (NEWSRANGERS)-Funny as this may sound, it’s really not funny until you know or get to be in the same shoes as this man.
Some people are damn so crazy with the way they behave when it comes to handling other peoples things, what stood out for me when I came across this tweet today, is the guts and audacity this Mechanic had to use another man’s car as a collateral for a loan which he took from another man.
In a trending post I came across while on Linda Ikeji’s Instagram verified handle, is a tweet made by a man who alleged that he gave his mechanic his Lexus ES350 to fix the air-conditioner for him, instead of doing what he gave him the car for, he took his car to his own debt to deposit as a collateral for a loan of N1,500,000 (One Million, Five Hundred Thousand Naira).
Here’s what he tweeted on his handle that got man talking “Nothing can surprise me anymore in this Lagos anymore!!!
I gave mechanic my car to fix the A/C, nigga went to drop my car as a collateral for his debt. Madness!!! How do you drop an ES350 for a 1.5m debt?
How? Update: The man who collected the car as collateral completely refuse to release the car. He has chosen violence and was even threatening. Sighs”
He updated later on, saying that the story has changed, that man actually seized the vehicle and not that driver used it as a collateral but that Nigeria Police Force has taken their van to arrest him.
