LAGOS SEPTEMBER 11TH (NEWSRANGERS)-A flash flood swept through the Asokoro–Guzape axis of Abuja on Thursday morning after hours of heavy rainfall.
A video shared online by a resident, Prince Adebisi Adetunji, showed torrents of water covering parts of the road, leaving motorists and pedestrians stranded.
The flooding caused major disruption to traffic, with vehicles struggling to navigate the submerged stretch. Residents blamed poor drainage in the area, saying it worsens flooding during the rainy season.
Authorities have yet to release an official statement on the incident.
