Dignitaries Flee As Clashes Over souvenir Disrupt Pro-Buhari Rally In Abuja LAGOS JULY 11TH(NEWSRANGERS)-Spontaneous clashes over souvenir on Tuesday disrupted a rally which was organised by supporters of President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja. The rally, organised by the Buhari Youth Organisation had hundreds of youths who profess support for the President trooped into the Eagle Square. The mega rally was aimed at canvass for President Buhari’s re-election in 2019. Trouble, however, started when some youths clashed over souvenir, thereby interrupting the program and causing some invited guests to depart from the venue. However, the Director of Media and Publicity for the group, Oghenyi Okpoku, insists that the gathering is a success. He told Channels Television that the clashes started merely as a result of euphoria. Dignitaries who came to support the rally were later seen driving out of the venue along with their security officials.
