LAGOS JULY 22ND (NEWSRANGERS)-Two lovers were killed by suspected members of the Badoo cult in their homes, located on Hassan Abiodun, Ojodu Berger in Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State early Friday morning.
Sympathisers said that the head of the lovers who were planning for their marriage were smashed with grinding stone.
It was gathered that the couple were living in a storey building on the street before the cult members came this morning.
Many of the residents could not be consoled as policemen from Ojodu Abiodun Division took away the remains of the deceased for onward transfer to the General Hospital Sagamu.
Many of the residents wailed as the corpses were brought out of the room and wrapped in wrappers.
The spokesperson for the police in Ogun, ASP Abimbola Oyeyemi, could not be reached for comments as his mobile indicated that it was switched off.
